The international expansion comes after MSM Co-Founder Andrew Mitchell, who will head up the new company as its CEO, relocated to his home country earlier this year.

MSM and KITA Communications will work together as preferred partners to maintain the high level of services already being offered to clients in Europe, while also allowing for a more flexible, à la carte approach with regard to future clients and collaboration.

MSM will continue to provide a full suite of advisory and PR services under the management of Peter Stafford, who takes over as CEO as part of the restructuring, while KITA Communications will tailor its offerings more to content creation and storytelling.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/3″][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_separator][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_custom_heading text=”DYNAMIC DUO” font_container=”tag:h1|text_align:left|color:%232b3150″ use_theme_fonts=”yes”][vc_custom_heading text=”Sport Climbing, Karate debut at Tokyo 2020″ font_container=”tag:h4|text_align:left|color:%232b3150″ use_theme_fonts=”yes”][vc_custom_heading text=”08.08.2021″ font_container=”tag:h6|text_align:left|color:%232b3150″ use_theme_fonts=”yes”][vc_column_text]It was a great honour for MSM to have been part of not one but two Olympic debuts this summer at Tokyo 2020.

Sport Climbing and Karate made their maiden appearances at the XXXII Olympiad and both were deemed massive successes.

But while the IFSC is now gearing up for Sport Climbing’s sophomore Games at Paris 2024, the WKF will be putting all its focus on being reinstated onto the Olympic programme for future editions of the Games.

MSM looks forward to continuing helping both on their respective Olympic journeys!

The final Olympic qualifying tournament for Karate took place earlier this month in Paris, with some 500 karatekas competing in the eight different Olympic categories. As a result, 78 athletes from 34 nations have now booked their tickets to Tokyo 2020.

MSM is the agency in charge of helping the World Karate Federation (WKF) with their communications activities in the lead up to and during Tokyo 2020, beginning with the Paris qualifiers.

Together with the WKF, MSM is working proactively to enhance the Federation’s brand by ensuring that clearly defined structures and processes are in place, from editorial planning to social media strategy and fan engagement.

We are helping the WKF tell its stories in engaging and creative ways, while producing original content that is delivered quickly and accurately for immediate impact.

Karate’s Olympic debut at Tokyo 2020 is scheduled for 5-7 August 2021, and we are beyond excited to be part of the World Karate Federation team for this historic occasion!

Two years ago today we were in Sarajevo & East Sarajevo for the start of the EYOF 2019 Winter European Youth Olympic Festival.

Some places you visit stay with you long after you leave, and Bosnia and Herzegovina is definitely one of them.

It didn’t matter who you spoke to – volunteers, taxi drivers, people you’d meet in the streets – they were all genuinely interested in knowing how the event was progressing and being perceived. After all the hardships of the recent past and the lingering tensions, what the area needed most of all was for the event to go off without a hitch to provide a ray of hope for the future.

The local organisers pulled it off, hosting a tremendous event for Europe’s best young athletes that truly exemplified the phrase “using sport for the betterment of humanity.”

The NOC of BiH and the two cities of Sarajevo & East Sarajevo won a Peace and Sport Award for Diplomatic Action of the Year for their efforts, an honour that was richly deserved.

MSM is proud to have played a small role in making this edition of the EYOF such a success, although it goes without saying that we took away a great deal more than we left behind.

Our hearty congratulations go out to not one but two of our clients for their inclusion on the sport programme for the Olympic Games Paris 2024!

The World DanceSport Federation (WDSF) will oversee Breaking for the first time ever at a Games, while the International Federation of Sport Climbing (IFSC) will make their second appearance, following Sport Climbing’s Olympic debut at Tokyo 2020 next year.

The Executive Board of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) made the decision at its final meeting of 2020 today.

We want to thank social media expert Mica Moore for bringing her big smile, heart and enthusiasm to every project we send her to – be it in Baku, Budapest or Belarus.

Our gratitude to our writers, Mark Bisson and Jeremy Inson, for helping to bring the inspiring stories of our clients to life.

Merci beaucoup to Kate Ollier and Sophie Perrault for their thorough translation and editing work.

MSM is thrilled to announce that it will provide advisory services to the International Federation of Sport CIimbing (IFSC) as it prepares for the sport’s first appearance at the Olympic Games next year.

An agreement was reached today that will see MSM assist the IFSC communications team in the lead-up to, during and following the rescheduled Tokyo 2020 Games next summer.

With less than a year to go, we’re already rolling up our sleeves for what we are confident will be an amazing debut at Tokyo 2020.

Each month, Victoria Evans inspires employees at sponsor Curtis Banks, one of the UK’s largest independent SIPP providers, with an update of her progress in pursuit of a world-record solo row across the Atlantic Ocean.

Victoria is using the challenge, for which she will depart in the first quarter of 2021, as a vehicle to draw attention to gender inequality in sport, in particular the barriers that prevent access to sport for women and girls.

We are pleased to share Victoria’s updates with Curtis Bank on our platform.
